Air & Sea

Air and Sea is my first deep dive in to creating abstract work. The work sprung from a photograph I took of sand and snow mixed together after a snowstorm. I forgot about the photo and when i found it I couldn’t tell what it was but I liked the visual formalities it had. This led me back to the beach and instead of looking out to the ocean I looked down at the sand for more shapes and patterns that evoked the same feeling i had when i took that first photograph.
